Create the absolute hot water and air all-in-one system with our new Bobil Hydronic Water and Air Heating Kit! This kit utilises the power of our Bobil Calorifiers, alongside the robust Autoterm Flow 5 Hydronic Diesel Heater to give you ample hot water and hot air for your campervan.

The Bobil Calorifiers are fitted with a Dual Voltage 12V/230V element calorifier allowing for water heating via 12V from your batteries, or 230V via hookup or inverter power. These tanks are available in 15L or 25L and makes for the ultimate calorifier hot water system. They are the same design as our ever-popular Bobil Electric hot water tank, but with the added benefit of having a coolant coil included.
 
Combine this with the efficient Autoterm Flow 5 Hydronic Diesel heater (a coolant heater), means that you can get hot water via this, or via electric. A 3-way hot water system. See the final pictures for a brief diagram on how the system works.
 
The Bobil Hydronic System can heat the water up to 85 degrees Celsius and store it in its insulated pressurised hot water tank and easily sustains a comfortable shower temperature in your boat or motorhome for multiple people. Check out the timings in the product spec.
 
The Kit comes with the Bobil Hydronic Smart Controller which ties everything together in an easy to use interface. This also controls the 12V element, allowing excess solar to automatically power the element when your batteries are full, for FREE HOT WATER! Level sensors for your water tanks can also be connected to the Bobil Smart Controller for extra functionality, which we highly recommend.
 
Unique to the Hydronic Hybrid system, the Smart Controller can also allow you to heat your water and air via the 230V element inside the tank when you are connected to mains power, meaning you can take advantage of campsite hookup for your hot water and hot air needs without needing to run the diesel heater.
 
This system is suitable for all water pumps up to 45PSI, and this water heater fits neatly in a locker or cupboard and has ½” BSP fittings which will accept all common plumbing fittings.

You can also choose an additional heater matrix if you wish for hot air in another room. This will be a single outlet in addition to the dual outlet matrix included as standard in the kit.
 
If you require additional matrices for bigger applications like on narrow boats or horseboxes with multiple rooms, we sell the dual and single exchanger separately, and additional controllers for them as well.
 
Ducting Kits and Panel Mounting
This system allows you to choose from either a panel mounted kit or a ducting kit for your hot air blower box. The panel mount option means the blower box gets screwed directly to a front facing panel (like a big square vent). Meanwhile, the ducting kit provides adaptors and either 60mm or 90mm ducting with standard round diesel heater vents, allowing you to place the blower box away in a garage or cupboard and use the ducting to direct the hot air to anywhere you need.
 
The kit comes with a dual air matrix, as standard so the ducting kit would give 2 separate ducting lines from this blower box. If you require more ducting lines, you can select the additional air matrix for a 3rd heating line.
 
Ducting Kit Contains:
2x 60mm/90mm ducting adaptors + screws (to attach to the blower box)
1m of 60mm/90mm ducting
4x 60mm/90mm jubilee clamps
2x 60mm/90mm vents
If you need more ducting, you can purchase extra here and it will be shipped as 1 uncut length.
If you choose the ducting kit for the additional single air matrix, you will receive only 1 ducting adaptor and vent, with 2 jubilee clips and 0.5m of ducting.
 
The panel mounted will come with screws to attach directly onto the blower box.
