The Bobil Air Hybrid heats allows you to heat water from both your diesel air heater and via electric (12V, 230V or both). By pumping water through a heat exchanger - attached to a diesel heater - you can heat up water from your diesel heater, giving your hot water  towash up, do dishes or have a hot shower. The 10L insulated, pressurised tank easily connects to your existing water supply and has integrated tank connectors, require very little power to maintain the temperature.
 
Combine this with the robust and 3-year-warranty of the Autoterm Diesel Heater (in 2kw or 4kw), you have everything you need for your campervan heating and hot water system. The 2kw model is suitable for smaller vehicles, whilst the 4kw is good for medium-large vans.
 
This system now comes with our new Bobil Smart Controller, which automatically diverts air towards and away from the heat exchanger depending on whether you wish to heat your campervan, or hot water. This also controls the 12V element, allowing excess solar to automatically power the element for FREE HOT WATER! 
 
It also has built in fresh water and waste water level sensor inputs, giving you a complete overview of your water system in your campervan. To choose the right size, measure the depth on your fresh water tank, and choose the size slightly smaller than this depth. (e.g. Tank depth: 330mm, get the 300mm). Waste water level sensor is included with the fresh water sensor.
 
Suitable for all water pumps up to 20PSI, and comes with ½” F BSP fittings wto connect to your plumbing system. We recommend the 20PSI Shurflo trail king 7, available to purchase here if you don't currently have a water pump. Any system over 20PSI will require an external pressure switch to drop the pressure.
 
For extra safety, you can also add our thermostatic mixer valve kit to provide safe warm water directly from your taps without needing a mixer, excellent if you have kids in the van!
