Our new custom made Bobil Calorifier allows you to heat water in your campervan or boat from your engine, via a coolant coil, and from the in built 12V and 230V elements, perfect for all eventualities!

The Bobil Calorifiers are a Dual Voltage 12V/230V element calorifier. This is available in 15L or 25L and makes for the ultimate calorifier hot water system. They are the same design as our ever-popular Bobil Electric hot water tank, but with the added benifit of having a coolant coil included, allowing you to use your engine to heat the hot water.
 
The Calorifier tanks can heat the water up to 85 degrees celsius and easily sustains a comfortable shower temperature in your boat or motorhome for multiple people. Check out the timings in the product spec.
 
The Kit comes with our Bobil Simple Controller, which gives you control over the tanks systems, including the 12V element, allowing excess solar to automatically power the element when your batteries are full, for FREE HOT WATER! 
 
Suitable for all water pumps up to 45PSI, this water heater fits neatly in a locker or cupboard and has ½” BSP fittings which will accept all common plumbing fittings.
 
To pair the Bobil Calorifier hot water tank with your water system, we suggest the following additions:
Expansion Tank - this allows the expanded water from the heating process to stay within the system; else it will leak out through the drain valve. If you purchase our complete plumbing kit then you will get this included! Or you can purchase one here.
Fresh Water Pump - whilst the tank is pressurised, you will need to provide water pressure for the tank to fill and provide hot water. You can purchase this here, or it is also included in our complete plumbing kit.
Thermostatic Mixer Valve - keeping the hot water tank at 60C or higher is ideal to prevent bacteria growth in the tank, and to maximise hot water usage, but you may not want 60C water coming out the hot tap, especially if you have children. You can purchase this here, or it is an optional extra in our complete plumbing kit.

Please note, this contains NO pipe or clips to connect the calorifier to the engine circuit loop. We do sell a calorifier connection kit that has all the required pipe, connectors and clips to allow you to do this, or you can make your own.
