Ed and Gabriella's vanlife journey started in 2019 when they decided to make their dream a reality...and go travelling around Europe in a campervan. Not just any campervan...one they'd built themselves into their own magical home on wheels.

But the dream didn't stop there...whilst travelling many a night was spent discussing business plans and seemingly crazy ideas...until it became a reality, and Bobil Vans was born.

Helping to spread vanlife love through innovative campervan products, custom conversions, and tips on how to get the most from your life on the road.

Giving Back

THE BUSINESS

The business has steadily grown since it's formation in 2020 and now sees us with more proprietary products and distributers globally. We've also expanded to sell products we feel are useful to the 'self-build' market, where the current market lacks offering.

This growth allows us to extend the team so we can continue doing what we love - making beautiful bespoke campervans for our lovely customers, with our head joiner Ste Eccles at the helm.

We regularly get asked where the name "Bobil Vans" comes from - it was decided upon whilst travelling in Norway, The word bobil in Norwegian simply means 'campervan'!

We loved the word and couldn't resist using it in our business.
