With the Bobil Calorifier Hybrid Kit you have the choice to either purchase one of our calorifiers, or it can fit on to any other calorifier if you already have one. It allows you to use a diesel heater to heat your water when your engine isn't running, thus allowing you to heat water in 3 ways (engine, diesel heater and electric) depending on your requirements!

The calorifiers we sell are the SureCal 12V or 230V element calorifier.  This is available in 10L, 15L and 22L and makes for the ultimate Calorifier hot water system (see more on the Surecal Calorifier below).
 
The Calorifier Hybrid system can heat the water up to 70 degrees celsius and easily sustains a comfortable shower temperature in your boat or motorhome for multiple people. Check out the timings in the product spec.
 
The Kit comes with our new Bobil Smart Controller, which switches the diverter automatically depending on whether you are heating air or water. Level sensors can also be connected to the Bobil Smart Controller for extra functionality. To choose the right size, measure the depth on your fresh water tank, and choose the size slightly smaller than this depth. (e.g. Tank depth: 330mm, get the 300mm). Waste water level sensor is included with the fresh water sensor.
 
Suitable for all water pumps up to 20PSI, this water heater fits neatly in a locker or cupboard and has ½” BSP fittings which will accept all common plumbing fittings.

SureCal boilers are made of the finest quality materials guaranteeing the ultimate performance and reliability. The drop coil technology and finned surface heat exchanger used in the boiler provides unrivaled heat recovery.
 
The unit is quick and easy to install with full fitting instructions provided. The boiler is insulated in a polyurethane jacket which will retain the heat for up to 24 hours after the engine has been switched off. The boiler is made of 100% copper, giving both performance and health benefits.
 
SureCal calorifiers come completely assembled ready for quick and easy installation. The immersion heater, pressure release valve, barbed engine coil connections and stainless steel fixing brackets all come as standard. A thermostatic mixer valve is fitted as standard for the safety of those onboard and increases the volume of hot water available.
 
The stored water within the boiler reaches the same temperature as the engine (generally 85°C). If the mixer valve is set at 65°C you will generally increase your available hot water supply by 25%.

The Bobil Smart Controller requires certain software for your heater type. Please enter your diesel/LPG/petrol heater make and model into the box provided.
