How it works
Using our innovative, custom design, the Bobil Hybrid system allows you to heat water from either a diesel air heater or from electric (12V or 230V), and store it in its insulated hot water tank.

With a simplistic design, insulated tank and pressurised system, its almost as simple as plug in and play...almost.

The water tank is insulated, meaning your precious hot water stays warm. There's no need for extra pumps, just connect the cold water line to one side, and the hot water line to the other.

Hot water from your diesel heater!
Using a heat exchanger that has been built from the ground up by us for this exact purpose, the Bobil Hybrid system allows you to heat water from any diesel air heater!

By connecting a diverter and some adaptors (included in the kit) to your hot air ducting line, the rest is all automated.
​
When you want hot air, the water need not be heater. If you're after some hot water, a flick of a switch and you have your water heating in no time.

You can even have the air and water being heated at the same time.

12v or 230v electric heating
If you have a large battery bank, or are on campsite power, then you can instead use electric power to heat your water instead.
​
The Bobil Hybrid has a choice of electric element types, 230V, 12V or both. Each has their own connections to power them independantly.

The 12V element using the Bobil Hybryid's custom built Smart Controller, can automatically on and off depending on the charge level of your battery is. On sunny days, if you have solar, this means free hot water
Hot water from your diesel heater!
The Bobil Hybrid system is designed to be as simple as possible to put together and install.
​
The tank uses 1/2" threads and includes plumbing fixtures to attach everything together. All you need to do afterwards is connect your cold water line to the input, and the hot water line to the outlet, and away you go.
​
With short pipe lengths, an efficient heat exchanger and insulated hot water tank, the Bobil Hybrid system loses very little heat meaning everything stays warm, even when the system is off.
